Who We Are?
Meras Development Organization is a non-governmental, non-profit organization established in 2017 in Libya. It aims to contribute to comprehensive development within Libyan society through diverse social and developmental programs and initiatives.
The organization works to build and strengthen capacities, support vulnerable groups, and encourage community participation in achieving sustainable development.
What Do We Aim to Achieve?
Economically: Creating real employment opportunities for youth and women by supporting micro-enterprises and vocational training aligned with labor market needs. Knowledge-wise: Raising digital and media literacy among youth to empower them to keep pace with global developments and protect themselves from misinformation. Institutionally: Building a strong Libyan organization to international standards, capable of responding to crises and managing development projects with high efficiency. Community-wise: Fostering a culture of dialogue and community participation in reconstruction processes and local decision-making.
